New Fall & Winter Hours

Starting today, August 29, we are starting our new Fall & Winter schedule. The schedule is as follows: Tuesdays 2 pm -7 pm and Saturdays 9 am-2 pm. We have no more fresh blueberries available, but we have frozen blueberries, ice cream, organic jams & syrup and blueberry soap available. There will be some special you-pick days coming up when the hazelnuts are ready.

REKA “Cooler Special”

“REKA” Cooler Special!

We have 60 HALF FLATS of the REKA variety in the cooler. They’re Karen’s personal favorite variety for making JAM. Buy one ½ flat at the regular price & get the 2nd ½ flat for $15!!! This SALE is good until they’re all sold! Here is a very tasty jam recipe out of the Ball Blue Book:



Yield: about 6 half-pints

4 ½ cups blueberries

1 package powdered pectin

5 cups sugar

1 tablespoon grated lime peel

1/3 cup lime juice

Crush blueberries one layer at a time. Combine crushed blueberries and powdered pectin in a large saucepot. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Stir in grated lime peel and lime juice. Return to a rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Skim foam if necessary. Ladle hot jam into hot jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace. Adjust two-piece caps. Process 15 minutes in a boiling water canner.
